Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. soda
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
1 c. Crisco
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Combine flour, soda and sugar.
Cut in shortening.
Add yeast and buttermilk.
Mix with spoon or hands until dough is formed. May be made into biscuits immediately or kept in the refrigerator for as long as two weeks.
Pinch off as needed and make into biscuits.
Bake 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
