Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large carrot
    1 large onion
    3 large potatoes
    1 Tbsp. butter
    water (for boiling vegetables)
    1 qt. milk
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Chop carrot, onion and potatoes and place in saucepan.
    Boil until tender.
    Add milk and butter; return to boil.
    Simmer for about 20 minutes.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Garnish with chopped parsley.
