Ingredients

1 can chicken broth
1 c. converted brand rice
1 c. water
1 (8 oz.) can pizza sauce
1 (3 to 4 oz.) pkg. sliced pepperoni
1 can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. fennel seed
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except green pepper and cheese in 10-inch skillet.
Bring to boil, reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in green pepper.
Remove from heat.
Let stand, covered, until all liquid is absorbed (5 minutes).
Sprinkle with cheese.
Makes 5 servings.
