Wonderful Ham, Vegetable And Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    ham bone
    1 minced garlic clove
    1 lb. 4 oz. can peeled tomatoes
    1 diced potato
    1/2 c. diced celery
    2 onions, sliced
    1 bay leaf
    2 chopped green peppers
    2 cut-up carrots
    1/4 c. barley
Preparation
    Cook ham bone in 6 cups water with sliced onions, garlic and bay leaf.
    Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
    Remove bone and add ham scraps, tomatoes, peppers, potato, carrots, celery and barley.
    Simmer for an hour.
