Jumbles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. (1 stick) softened margarine
1 egg, beaten
2 c. unsifted flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Combine softened margarine and egg.
In a separate bowl, blend together flour, sugar and nutmeg.
Stir into margarine mixture; mix.
Turn out onto floured board and knead lightly a few times until dough forms a ball.
Wrap in waxed paper and chill 1 hour.
