Veal Paprika - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon, cut in small pieces
4 lb. boneless veal shank, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 c. chopped onion
5 c. chicken broth
1 clove garlic, minced
3 Tbsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
slivered almonds (as desired)
Preparation

Cook the bacon and remove and drain on paper.
Brown the veal and onion until golden in bacon fat.
Add the bacon, chicken broth, garlic, paprika and salt.
Cover and simmer until veal is tender, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Mix the flour with sour cream and add to the veal and cook until it thickens.
