Ingredients

1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix baking powder, flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugars and vanilla.
Mix together.
Add egg and beat well.
Add dry ingredients, stirring well.
Fold in oats, chocolate chips and pecans.
Scoop out walnut size balls of dough onto a sprayed or nonstick cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 11 to 13 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Remove from oven and cool on cookie sheet 5 minutes.
Remove to rack to finish cooling.
