Pumpkin Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. butter
4 tart apples, sliced
1 (5 1/2 oz.) evaporated milk
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
1 egg, beaten
1 c. pumpkin
1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Preparation

In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, salt, water and butter.
Cook and stir over medium heat until boiling.
Add sliced apples and cover and cook 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add lemon juice.
Spread mixture in bottom of unbaked pie shell.
Combine egg, pumpkin, sugar, salt, spice and evaporated milk.
Mix well and carefully pour over apple mixture. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool and serve with whipped cream.
