Persimmon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    1 c. persimmon pulp
    1 c. dates
    1 c. walnuts
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. raisins
    2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in lukewarm water (add last)
Preparation
    Sift
    the flour and spices together in small bowl, then blend Crisco,
    sugar and eggs in a big bowl.
    Blend flour into persimmons,
    dates,
    nuts
    and
    raisins.
    Blend
    together
    all ingredients,
    adding
    baking
    soda\tlast.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then turn to 350\u00b0 and bake for 45 minutes longer.
