Barbecue Sauce(Similar To Kroths) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 c. mustard
1 1/4 c. ketchup
3/4 Tbsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1 stick butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch

Preparation

Mix first 8 ingredients and cook for 30 minutes to 1 hour slowly.
Cool completely.
Add 1/4 cup sugar and cornstarch.
Cook 15 to 30 minutes.
For hot sauce, add 1/2 tablespoon red pepper. Makes 1/2 gallon.
