Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening, part butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. soda
pinch of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oats (quick cooking)
1 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs

Preparation

Mix together and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
The butter makes them crispy like Grandma Hofen made.
