Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked or canned tomatoes
    3 or 4 slices toast, cut in cubes
    1 tsp. grated onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Season tomatoes with onion, salt and pepper.
    In a 1-quart casserole dish, alternate tomatoes and toast cubes, having toast for top layer.
    Pour butter over and bake at 375\u00b0 until heated, about 20 minutes.
