Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck cucumbers
    13 c. water
    4 c. vinegar (brown)
    3/4 c. salt
    clove garlic
    fresh dill or dill seed
Preparation
    Bring liquids to a boil.
    Put 2 clove garlic and 1 head of fresh dill or 1
    tablespoon
    dill seed to each quart.
    Fill jars with pickles, then
    cover
    with
    boiling
    water, then set jars in hot water
    and
    place
    on
    burner until pickles change colors.
