Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 stick butter
    6 oz. peanut butter
Preparation
    Bring sugar and milk to soft ball stage.
    (I use a candy thermometer but it is not necessary.)
    Take off heat and add margarine.
    Let completely dissolve and quickly add peanut butter, stirring mixture.
    Pour into buttered 9 x 9-inch square pan.
    When cool, cut into squares.
