Lemon Or Vanilla Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. plain flour
3/4 c. Crisco shortening
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 sticks margarine
1 Tbsp. flavoring (lemon or vanilla)
1 c. sweet milk
Preparation

Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar until creamy.
Add eggs one at a time.
Add milk, then add lemon or vanilla flavoring.
Add flour a little at a time.
Beat until creamy.
Cook at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Start cooking cake in a cool oven.
