Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon and 2 Tbsp. sugar, mixed together
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
    Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Shape dough into walnut-sized balls.
    Stir cinnamon and sugar together; roll each ball into mixture.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
