Bread Pudding, Chez Helene'S - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    6 beaten eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 loaf white bread, broken into chunks and pieces (any bread will do, the worse the better)
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream sugar with butter.
    Add eggs. Add milk, evaporated milk, nutmeg, vanilla and bread.
    Add raisins and stir to mix. Pour into a deep greased casserole and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
    Stir after first hour.
    Serve warm with hard sauce.
