Brunswick Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stewing chicken
    2 large onions
    2 c. okra
    2 c. corn
    2 c. lima beans
    2 cans tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 medium potatoes, diced
    3 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut chicken into pieces and simmer in 2 quarts of water for 2 hours.
    Remove, debone and dice.
    Add vegetables; simmer, uncovered, until beans and potatoes are tender.
    Add cornstarch to make thickening.
