Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1 pt. can pears cut into small cubes, with juice
    2 1/3 c. coconut
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Combine cake mix, pears, 1 cup coconut and eggs.
    Blend and beat at medium speed 2 minutes.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Remove from oven; bring butter, sugar and milk to boil in small saucepan.
    Boil 2 minutes; remove from heat and stir in remaining coconut and nuts.
    Spoon over hot cake.
    Serve warm or cool.
