Honey Sand Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
2 Tbsp. honey
2 c. flour (all-purpose)
3/4 c. walnuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
extra powdered sugar, sifted
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter (not margarine), powdered sugar and honey.
Add the flour, nuts (optional), vanilla and salt (optional).
Mix thoroughly, using hands, if necessary.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Press 1 1/2 inches apart on a well-greased cookie sheet, otherwise they will stick. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 14 to 16 minutes (or until cookies are lightly brown).
While still warm from the oven, roll the cookies in the extra powdered sugar.
Place them on a plate to cool.
When completely cool, roll again in the powdered sugar and serve.
Makes 48 cookies.
