Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pinch of baking powder
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly; add hot water until soft dough is formed. Roll into rectangle until very thin.
    Cut in squares.
    Add to boiling broth and cook until done, about 20 minutes.
