*Beef With Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. top round, cubed
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. paprika
    salt and black pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil
    4 Tbsp. butter, divided
    2 c. red wine
    1 bay leaf
    2 cloves garlic
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    6 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 1/2 to 2 c. water
Preparation
    Coat
    meat in mixture of flour and paprika.
    Brown in 2 tablespoons oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet. Remove to Dutch oven. Add 2 cups red wine, bay leaf, 2 cloves garlic, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
    In the skillet, add remaining 2 tablespoons butter, cooking butter until brown. Add tomato paste and stir with butter until blended and tomato paste is slightly brown.
    Add 1 1/2 cups water and blend together. Add to Dutch oven.
    Simmer contents, adding extra 1/2 cup water if necessary,
    until meat is tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Serve over cooked noodles or rice.
