Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine flour and sugar; place in a mixing bowl.
Place butter, Crisco, cocoa and water into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
When reaches boiling point, pour over first mixture and stir.
Add buttermilk and baking soda.
Pour into mixture.
Add slightly beaten eggs and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour into a greased and floured 10 x 13-inch pan and bake 30 minutes at 400\u00b0.
