Ingredients

1 c. self-rising flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. water
fruit filling of your choice
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in bowl; beat until mixed.
Spread batter into baking dish.
Spoon filling into center of batter.
Do not stir.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 425\u00b0.
