Green Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. ground green tomatoes
    3 c. ground onions
    3 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped pepper
    1/2 c. chopped red pepper
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Combine all chopped vegetables and sprinkle with 1/4 cup pickling salt.
    Cover and cold water.
    Let stand four hours. Drain, rinse and drain again.
    Combine in large Dutch oven with sugar, vinegar, celery and mustard seed.
    Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
    Pack into hot jars and seal. Makes 4 pints.
