Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. cooked apple puree
3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Combine apple puree, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon, lemon juice and cloves in saucepan.
Cook until smooth and thick, stirring frequently.
Ladle into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace; seal with 2-piece lids.
Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
Yield:
60 servings.
