Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 slices bacon
    1 pt. finely chopped clams
    2 medium carrots
    3 medium potatoes
    1 medium onion
    6 Tbsp. butter
    6 Tbsp. flour
    6 c. Milkman powdered milk
    season to taste (our favorites are garlic, Mrs. Dash, parsley and turmeric)
Preparation
    Fry bacon; remove.
    Stir-fry clams in bacon grease.
    Stir-fry carrots, onion and potatoes until done.
    Add butter, if needed. Remove veggies.
    Add butter to remaining bacon grease.
    Add flour and spices.
    Fry until golden.
    Add 6 cups milk all at once; stir constantly until mixture thickens.
    Do not boil.
    Crumble in bacon and serve.
