Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 sq. Hershey's chocolate
    7/8 c. half and half
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Wipe granules from side of pan.
    Do not stir while cooking.
    Cook slowly to soft ball stage.
    Pour into bowl and cool until firm.
    Beat.
    Roll into balls and cover with chopped nuts or add nuts to fudge and pour into square pan and cut into squares.
