Walnut Raisin Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. liquid margarine
2 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
2 c. finely chopped apples (optional)
Preparation

Preheat
oven to 350\u00b0.\tGrease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
In a large bowl,
combine
sugar
and\tmargarine.
Using
a wooden spoon, beat in eggs and vanilla.
Sift the flour, soda, powder and cinnamon.
Stir
into
egg mixture alternating with milk. Stir
in apples, nuts and raisins.\tPour into pan and bake 40 to 45 minutes.
Let cool and frost, if desired.
