Devils Food Cupcakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup warm water
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup shortening
1 2/3 cups flour
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix together warm water, cocoa and shortening and cool. Then in a mixing bowl, sift flour, salt, sugar, baking soda and baking powder. Add the cocoa mixture and beat well. Add eggs and vanilla, and beat again. Put paper baking cups in muffin pans. Fill each half full. Bake 25 minutes.
Makes 24 cupcakes.
