Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can Dole pineapple slices
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can peach halves
    1/2 small jar maraschino cherries
    3 large bananas
    2 c. red seedless grapes, cut in half
    3/4 c. walnuts, chopped coarsely
    3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Mix half of whipped cream with mayonnaise.
    Cut pineapple and peach halves
    into\tpieces\t(bite
    size).
    Drain fruit well.
    In large serving
    bowl layer fruit and mayonnaise-cream mixture. First pineapple,
    then
    bananas,
    then peaches, then grapes and then cream\tmixture.
    Repeat
    until
    all
    fruit and cream mix is used.
    Sprinkle
    each
    layer with a little sugar. Spread remaining whipped cream
    on
    top and sprinkle with nuts and cherries.
