Dirty Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. chicken livers, chopped
    1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    2 tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 garlic clove, minced
    3 c. cooked rice
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. hot sauce
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
Preparation
    Saute livers and sausage until browned.
    Remove from skillet; drain and set aside.
    Saute onions, celery, parsley and garlic in butter until tender.
    Add livers, sausage and remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Cook over medium heat until heated throughout, stirring constantly.
    Serves 8.
