Ingredients

9-inch baked pie shell
1/2 c. Borden butter
2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
3 eggs, beaten well
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of nutmeg
Preparation

Cream together the butter, salt and sugar well.
Add flour and eggs.
Beat well.
Stir in buttermilk, vanilla and nutmeg.
Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Place on wire rack to cool completely before serving.
Has a rich, buttery flavor.
