Lemon Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter or margarine
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. lemon juice and rind of lemon
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
    Sift all dry ingredients.
    Add buttermilk and dry ingredients alternately, beating well.
    Place juice and rind and beat well.
    Place in greased tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
