Zippy Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
3/4 c. soft bread crumbs (approximately 1 slice)
1/4 c. chili sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. instant minced onion
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. minced celery
2 Tbsp. butter-flavor Crisco
bottled barbecue sauce
Preparation

Beat egg in medium bowl.
Mix in bread crumbs, chili sauce, salt, onion, garlic powder, ground beef and celery.
Shape into 30 small balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
Melt Crisco in large skillet over medium heat. Add meat balls and brown on all sides. Continue cooking until done, about 12 minutes, including browning time.
Warm barbecue sauce while meat balls are cooking.
Serve on wooden picks.
Dip in warm sauce.
