Butterscotch Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 small pkg. regular butterscotch pudding mix (not instant)
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except pecans, in a 1 1/2-quart saucepan on medium heat.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add pecans.
    Cook over low heat.
    When mixture boils, cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool 5 to 10 minutes.
    Beat until thickened.
    Drop by teaspoon onto greased wax paper.
    Makes 24 to 28 pieces.
