Tortilla Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 fresh jalapeno, chopped (optional)
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    16 oz. can stewed tomatoes + 1 can water
    10 oz. can Ro-Tel tomatoes + green chiles + 1 can water
    10 3/4 oz. can beef broth + 1 can water
    10 3/4 oz. can chicken broth + 1 can water
    10 3/4 oz. can tomato soup concentrate + 1 can water
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. fresh cilantro
    1 can corn
    10 corn tortillas, cut in strips
    1/2 c. grated cheese for topping
Preparation
    Brown ground beef; drain well.
    Add onion, jalapeno and garlic to beef and saute for a few minutes.
    Add tomatoes, soups, seasonings and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
    Add tortillas and cook 15 minutes more.
    Garnish with cheese.
