Tommie'S And Judy'S Pork Chops Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    1 c. raw rice
    3 c. hot water
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, sliced thin
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown pork chops.
    Mix rice, water, mushroom soup, onion, salt and pepper.
    Pour into 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Top with bell pepper slices and pork chops.
    Cover dish with foil.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until pork chops are done and rice is done.
    Trim chops of all fat.
    Can substitute soup with cream of chicken and substitute chicken for pork chops.
