Old-Fashioned Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. peeled, cubed potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    water (enough to cover potatoes)
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Place
    potatoes,
    celery,
    onions and water in saucepan over medium heat and cook until tender.
    To 1/4 cup flour add a
    little cold
    water and stir until all lumps are dissolved. Add
    salt and
    pepper
    and
    milk.
    Cook 4 to 5 minutes, until thickened, stirring
    to keep from sticking.
    Add butter.
    Eat with crackers or your favorite bread.
