Spoon Bread Tamale Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 minced clove garlic
    1/2 c. chopped green peppers
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes (2 1/2 c.)
    1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn (1 1/2 c.)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1 c. water
    1 c. pitted ripe olives
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. grated American cheese
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
Preparation
    Early in day:
    In oil in skillet, brown chuck.
    Add onions, garlic and green peppers; cook until onions are golden.
    Stir in tomatoes and the next 4 ingredients; simmer 5 minutes.
    Stir in 1/2 cup corn meal mixed with water.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add olives; turn into 3-quart casserole.
