Whole Wheat Raisin Nut Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. whole wheat flour
4 c. unbleached flour
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, 1 cup unbleached flour, yeast, brown sugar and salt.
Heat water and margarine to 125\u00b0 and add to yeast and flour mixture.
Beat vigorously for 2 minutes.
Add remaining flour, a little at a time, until you have a dough stiff enough to knead, adding flour as necessary until you have a smooth and elastic dough.
