Favorite Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. melted margarine or butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    4 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    1 1/4 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar and syrup.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves; let cool slightly.
    Add eggs, vanilla and salt to mixture; mix well.
    Pour filling into pie shell; top with pecans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
    Extra good.
