Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. lard
    1 egg
    1 c. warm water
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; add 1 teaspoon sugar.
    In a bowl, cream sugar, lard and egg.
    Add warm water; beat.
    Add dissolved yeast; beat in flour and salt.
    Let rise, then press down when doubled and roll out or put in refrigerator and make rolls as needed.
