Raisin Water Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. seedless raisins
    3/4 c. raisin water
    1 c. sugar
    2 heaping Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 heaping tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Boil seedless raisins about 20 minutes.
    Drain and save 3/4 cup raisin water.
    Mix sugar, shortening, egg, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; add 3/4 cup cooked raisin water.
    Sift flour, baking soda and baking powder.
    Add to raisin water mixture.
    Then add cooked raisins.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Use cone or Bundt pan.
    Cool for 5 minutes in pan.
