Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
1 pkg. chopped dates
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. Rice Krispies
1 small can coconut
Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients and add dates.
Cook over low heat until dates dissolve.
Remove from heat.
Add nuts and vanilla. Pour over Rice Krispies and shape into balls.
Roll in coconut.
