Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 well beaten eggs
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and shortening; add eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to cream mixture.
    Add nuts.
    Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
