Best Ever Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. large pecan pieces
1/2 stick butter, melted
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. seedless raisins
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 eggs
Preparation

Separate eggs.
Beat egg yolks until light and thick.
Mix sugar and spices.
Add to egg yolks.
Add pecans, raisins and butter.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold gently into mixture (do not beat).
Add vinegar as you fold.
Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0, then reduce to 350\u00b0.
Bake 25 minutes.
Cool.
Serve with unsweetened whipped cream if you wish. (I serve mine without the whipped cream.)
