Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped meat (beef)
    4 to 6 carrots, cut up
    2 to 3 celery stalks, cut up
    1 onion, cut up
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 clove garlic
    1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
    thyme (to taste)
    A.1. sauce (to taste)
    salt (to taste)
    pepper (to taste)
    3 to 4 potatoes, cooked and mashed
Preparation
    Brown meat, saute vegetables in butter with the garlic.
    Add rest of ingredients
    (except potatoes).
    Simmer to blend flavors, then put into casserole dish.
    Cover top of mixture with mashed potatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until potatoes are browned.
