Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening or butter
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. hot water
1/2 c. cocoa

Preparation

Mix water and cocoa; add remaining ingredients.
Pour into 3 cake pans or 1 oblong pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
