Sausage-Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. long grain rice
    1 lb. or more sausage
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped green onions
    1 c. chopped onions (yellow)
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 small can sliced mushrooms
    1 can beef consomme soup
    2 c. water
    1/2 stick oleo
Preparation
    Fry sausage slices until lightly browned; drain and set aside. Brown rice in melted oleo over medium heat.
    Add onions and celery; saute.
    Combine all other ingredients.
    Add sausage and cover.
    Cook over low heat for 25 to 30 minutes, or until rice is cooked.
